New Release: If you want to...
Despite all the time he has spent on the road throughout the year, he has been continually writing and recording new material especially throughout the US tour. The New Ep titled "If You Want To" (Due for release later this year, has just been finished and was produced by Fred Cox (wretch 32, Joel Compass, Kwabs) and mastered by Mazen at Metropolis Studios ( M.I.A, Dizzee Rascal, Kasabian). Johnny has also written an albums worth of raw acoustic driven songs which are a lot more stripped back, giving the listener an insight into the unique life of a touring musician.
The Best Days
Recognition was also enjoyed on radio with his single, The Best Days making airplay on both BBC Radio 1 and 2 in the same week. Consequently, this had a big impact on his live shows and led to him playing over 250 shows in the last year alongside acts such as Clean Bandit, Rizzle Kicks, The Feeling, The Kaiser Chiefs, Jools Holland and many more. Johnny hit festivals such as Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight, Cornbury and Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival playing to audiences of thousands. During this time he was also selected by CAFFÈ NERO as their Artist of the Month, where they play listed 2 of his songs around 600 stores worldwide.
With a live experience totaling in at over 2000 shows and half as many radio interviews, Lucas has never been in a stronger position. Next stop the stratosphere…
